Lew Lash Scholarship

The Lewis Lash Memorial scholarship was created as a memorial to honor the memory and legacy of “Lew” (1945-2015) and his pride and commitment to serving others and The Ohio State University.

Lew was a very passionate person who had a deep love for Ohio State. He received his Liberal Arts degree from Ohio State in 1967 and following his graduation he joined the Army and served for two years. After his military service, he went on to a successful career as a salesman in the financial industry. He knew the value of hard work as he always held part-time jobs during the school year and worked full-time during the summer to put himself through college. During his lifetime he was involved in many aspects of Ohio State including football games and Greek life, as he was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He was also very active in campus organizations such as ROTC. He traveled and lived all over the country, but no matter where he was, Lew continued to share his love and devotion for The Ohio State University. Eligible applicants must be currently enrolled upperclassmen at OSU from the State of Wisconsin.
